Staking & Economic Model

Staking Integration – Yield from staked assets

When users stake W3PI, the underlying assets in the index are automatically staked through external protocols. Rewards are collected and distributed net of performance fees, generating yield for participants without requiring manual delegation.

Performance Fee – Applied to staked rewards

A 10% performance fee is applied to staking rewards generated by the underlying tokens. This ensures that protocol earnings scale with actual yield performance, aligning incentives between participants and the protocol.

Fee Structure – Transparent and aligned

The protocol applies a 0.55% buy fee, 0.95% sell fee, and a 1.95% annualized management (streaming) fee. A 10% performance fee is charged only on staking rewards, ensuring fees are tied to value creation.

W3PI enables yield generation through integrated staking of the underlying index assets. When users stake W3PI, constituent tokens are staked proportionally, and rewards are distributed after a 10% performance fee. A transparent fee structure — including 0.55% buy, 0.95% sell, and 1.95% annual management fees — ensures sustainable protocol operations while aligning incentives with user outcomes.

Built-In Liquidity Buffer

A built-in 5% USDC reserve acts as a shock absorber during volatile conditions. This buffer is automatically topped up and used to fulfill redemptions without the need for immediate asset liquidation, helping to preserve index stability during market stress.

Market Cap–Weighted Rebalancing

The index periodically rebalances based on the relative market capitalization of active-tier tokens. Over- and underweighted positions are adjusted via efficient swaps to maintain an optimal allocation. Note: trading volume influences tier classification but does not drive portfolio weights.
